BP Australia Pty Ltd has developed an iPhone app called BP Plus, which offers a hassle-free way to purchase fuel. With this app, users can link their BP Plus fuel card and create a passcode to pay for fuel. To begin, one must pull up to a mobile payment enabled store and open the app. After selecting the pump and fuel type, the user can enter their passcode, and the transaction will be automatically added to their BP Plus fuel card. The app also has a 'Store Finder' feature that helps locate mobile payment enabled stores, including truck stops, truck-friendly sites, and the extended merchant network.
The BP Plus app offers several benefits, including faster fill-ups, no need to remember odometer readings, the option to send transaction receipts to anyone, any time, and the ability to easily locate the nearest BP store with the inbuilt 'Store Finder.' However, for safety reasons, users must leave their phones in the car while refueling. Terms and conditions apply, and the app is only available at participating stores.
